What is one fun fact about you?
The one fun fact about me is that I love to act and have acted in local community theater. Of course, the role that gave me a lot of visibility was playing the grandmother in the Netflix series Never Have I Ever.
What is one thing that you like about working at Stanford?
I love the variety of working at Stanford. With Internal Audit, every project is different. You get to learn about a new unit, new operations, and new colleagues. In the past 25 years, I have met so many Stanford colleagues who are super smart and take pride in their work. I consider it an honor and privilege to be their valued partner and trusted advisor.
What is one of your favorite memories while working at Stanford?
I absolutely love the Stanford campus. I loved walking to all my meetings on campus before the Zoom era. Rodin's outdoor sculpture garden and the docent-led tour of the Memorial Church will remain my favorites.
Leave your Legacy: What piece of guidance would you give a new hire at Stanford?
I would tell all new hires - keep an open mind. There is always something new to learn from your colleagues. Take advantage of all the benefits that Stanford offers. Use those STAP funds to take a class to expand your horizons. Stanford invests a lot in our health and wellness so actively participate in the BeWell program.
